What can I do with Gas Certificate App?
You can create supported domestic, commercial, oil and other records, manage customers and jobs, send quotes and invoices, set reminders, store job information and use the account across mobile, tablet and desktop.
Do I need to be Gas Safe registered?
Gas Certificate App is intended for users aged 18 or over who are Gas Safe registered. A valid Gas Safe registration number is required to create gas certificates.
Can I use the software on mobile and desktop?
Yes. You can use the same account across supported mobile, tablet and desktop devices. Your connected records can then stay with the relevant customer and property.
Does Gas Certificate App work without signal?
Mobile Offline Mode lets you create and save new supported certificate work after you enable it while connected. Reconnect before syncing or sending. Previous certificates and PDFs require internet, and desktop is online only.
Can I duplicate a previous certificate?
You can duplicate an existing synced certificate and then update the details that have changed. This is useful for repeat visits where much of the information remains the same.
Are boiler manuals available inside the app?
Available boiler manuals can be opened from inside the certificate workflow, helping you find technical information without leaving the job record.
Can customers accept or decline reminders?
Email reminders can give the customer the option to accept or decline the proposed appointment. Optional SMS reminders use paid message credits.
Does it connect with accounting software?
Gas Certificate App offers a QuickBooks integration and a supported Xero data export. These are different connection methods, so they are described separately.
Can I add engineers or office staff?
Yes. Main Engineer, Additional User and Admin User roles are available. The Main Engineer controls Additional User permissions, while the Admin role is designed around supported office administration.
